Lance Truck Camper Construction
Advanced technology comes to Lance camper construction. Automated equipment assures precision cut parts and assembly.
• Precision manufactured parts produced by automation.
With the additional structure needed in many new Lance models to support full-wall slideouts and sub-floor compartments, aluminum was chosen as the optimum framing material because of its rigid properties, consistent strength and low weight.
LanceLock assures precision assembly through its welded aluminum framing, specially designed aluminum extrusion-fasteners, and high-pressure bonded lamination.
It's unbelievably strong and built to stay strong helps retain the value and creates a level of pride and enjoyment of your camper for many, many years.
Lance Travel Trailer Construction
How a Lance travel trailer is different - and why different is better.
.062”-wall-thickness Alodine®-coated all aluminum frame construction.
Reduce glare and reject the sun’s harmful rays.
Deliver additional weather protection. Other manufacturers use brittle vinyl insert strips on their exterior seams to hide their screws which only serves to collect water underneath these strips and create corrosion.
Premium, heavy-duty, rubber torsion-bar-suspension axles with EZ-lube wheel bearings ensure a smooth ride.
Precision-fitted throughout the coach leaving no voids available for any possible air intrusion.
Provide incredible strength and rigidity – and insulation against both heat and cold.
Cabinets are screwed together. No staples. No raw wood.
The Lance-Lock structure.060 Alodine®-coated aluminum framing
The LanceLock structure starts with welded .060-inch wall thickness, aircraft-grade aluminum framing – coated with Alodine (enhancing the molecular bonding of the metal during the LanceLock process) – and assembled within a precision jig system.
Total comfort insulation
Solid, high-density rigid block foam insulation is used throughout the entire camper – creating a strongs total thermally protected enclosure for all-season use.
Structural Filon® paneling
Filon reinforced fiberglass panels make up the exterior, exterior and seamless TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) roof material seals the structure – providing durability and low maintenance.
Interlocking aluminum extrusions
Custom designed extrusions fasten LanceLock laminated structural panels together adding strength while assuring a tight-tolerance fit.
No other camper manufacturer uses extrusions like oursto properly connect their aluminum-tubed framing together! See a Lance for yourself and compare the quality!
