Hi there,
Hope you have a great holiday over Christmas and New Year. We have a had fun year of traveling the national and state parks on the west side of north America from Arizona to Alaska. Driving was only a small part of the fun though as we hiked over a thousand kilometers and encountered many animals, mountains, waterfalls, rivers and great people along the way. We also took to the water as much as possible on the Colorado River, California and in Alaska. We are now having a 3 month summer break with relatives in Australia. Its amazing how dry this place is compared to British Columbia and Alaska.
Yes, we were planning on driving around the whole US in 2008 but there was too much to stop and do and there is always next year. We also made some pit stops in Denver to continue renovating our house and collect our mail etc. We plan to do the east coast from Florida to Newfoundland 2009 with similar breaks in Denver.
